About Solvd
Solvd (解客) is an online press for puzzle games only — a place to play, compete on per-level leaderboards, and watch expert solution replays.
What is Solvd?
Solvd does one thing: logic and puzzle games. Every game has per-level leaderboards, so you're not just solving — you're racing the clock and the move count against everyone else. When a player lands on a leaderboard, their solution is recorded, and you can watch exactly how they did it.
The games
Solvd currently has 11 puzzle games — Sudoku, Kakuro, Calcudoku, Nonogram, Klotski, Sliding Puzzle, Lights Out, Peg Solitaire, Sokoban, Tower of Hanoi, and Flow (Numberlink).
Points & unlocking solutions
Solvd runs on credits — an on-site virtual currency. You spend credits to unlock another player's full solution replay, and you earn them several ways:
- A free daily claim, just for showing up.
- A starting grant when you create an account.
- An author reward whenever someone spends credits to unlock your solution.
So the better you solve, the more your recorded solutions earn you — credits you can spend to learn from everyone else.
Fair leaderboards
Leaderboards only mean something if the puzzles are fair, so:
- Every level is verified by a solver for a unique, valid solution before it's published.
- Five AI benchmark players — Astra, Byte, Cortex, Delta and Echo — set reference scores, so you always have something to measure against.
